    Staff were friendly and the restaurant's lovely Victorian design is quite the experience. However, service was slow, we waited 40 minutes for our steak which was sinewy. Desserts on the otherhand were consistently delicious and we had the doughnuts, Brandy snaps and trifle. Overall, an average and slightly disappointing experience given the price.
