  Excellent Indian food experience and is worth a night out. This should be the standard for Indian restaurants. The freshly ground spices are immediately apparent. Perfect balance in spice and flavours. The staff were amazing. One of the waitress spent time answering all our questions and suggested we should tray lamb chop curry which turns out to be amazing, quite rich but tasty. Also, had a chat with friendly chef and found that the restaurant has a great history. A must visit.....!!!!

  Closer to 3.5. I enjoyed the food here, but it didn't blow my mind by any means. I just have a higher standard for Indian food these days. If you've never tried Indian cuisine before then this will be a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly, but were a little oblivious to the customers needs and didn't seem to quite know what was on their own menu. No deal breakers there for me, just something I noticed. The ambience was cosy and most suited to a casual night out with friends or family.

  This is actually the best Indian food I have ever had and we have eaten here (usually take away) many many times for years. Never had a substandard dish. Quite frankly very surprised to hear other peoples poor reviews. How many Indian restaurants are there that actually have a Tandoor.
